On Guard Essential Oil: The Immune-Boosting Powerhouse

nutrition Oct 23, 2017

Did you know that cooler weather is an optimal condition for influenza and other transmittable viruses to spread because it allows viruses to remain airborne longer?

Yuck. Who wants to get sick just before the holiday season starts? Or worse, during the holidays? I know I don’t, and I’m sure you don’t want to either. That’s why I want to share with you why I love On Guard, my go-to therapeutic grade essential oil blend. This blend contains wild orange peel, clove bud, cinnamon leaf, cinnamon bark, eucalyptus leaf, and rosemary leaf essential oils, and has a warm, spicy, woody aroma.

On Guard protects against environmental and seasonal threats. It supports healthy immune and respiratory function, supports the body’s natural antioxidant defenses, and promotes healthy circulation.

You can use On Guard internally, topically or through diffusion, but if you’re looking for the most effective way to support your immune system, you’ll want to ingest a few drops of the oil when you’re feeling like your immune system needs a boost. Try adding two to three drops to a veggie capsule and then swallow it as you would a pill. Or try soaking sliced apples in water with a few drops of the oil. You can also dilute one drop in 4 fl. oz. of liquid.

Probably the easiest way to consume the oil, however, is with On Guard Beadlets. These beadlets allow you to experience On Guard anytime, anywhere, and by easily popping a few in your mouth, and as an added benefit, the beadlets freshen your breath, too.

If you’re not comfortable ingesting the oil or consuming the beadlets, but you still want to use On Guard, try:

1. Combining a few drops with Fractionated Coconut Oil and make a natural hand cleanser.
2. Putting several drops in a bowl of very hot water and breathing in the vapor.
3. Adding 15-20 drops to a spray bottle of water and vinegar and then using it to clean and sanitize.
4. Adding a few drops to your dishwasher or washing machine.
5. Using three to four drops in a diffusor.

I know there’s a lot to learn when it comes to essential oils, and for many people it’s overwhelming and a major reason why they don’t give them a try.

In fact, I often hear people ask, “Where do I start with oils? How much of each should I use? Is it okay to apply them to my skin? Should I dilute them first? Can I use them on my children?” And so on.

On Thursday, October 26th at 4pm PST / 5pm MST / 6pm CST / 7pm EST, I’ll be answering those questions and more.

Come join me and you’ll learn the answers to those questions and leave knowing how to safely use essential oils, how to dilute them and why it’s so important, how they’ll benefit your mind and body, and how you’ll be able to get the most out of each oil.
